Hielscher Ultrasonics offers ultrasonic devices for use in lab, bench-top and production scale. There is a very comprehensive series of processors available to the user, differentiated in terms of power, frequency, case of application and operation conditions.

The ultrasonic laboratory devices can be used for the preparation of samples, such as dissolving, mixing, cell disruption/lysis, emulsification or degassing. Special ultrasonic lab devices allow for sophisticated sonication of microplates or autosampler vials, or sieving.

The industrial ultrasonic processors of up to 1kW are commonly used for the bench-top testing and optimization of liquid processes, such as mixing and particle size reduction (milling) or disintegration of organic material. The results of such tests can be transferred to the larger industrial devices. With up to 16kW per single device, Hielscher Ultrasonics is leading the market for industrial ultrasonic liquid processing. For high volume production, single units can be combined to form clusters of higher ultrasonic output power.
